Scenario · Elena, Head of Logistics

Logistics doesn’t fail. It gets overruled.

Elena has run the warehouse for twenty years. She used to work around Finance, Sales, Purchasing and an ERP nobody built for the warehouse. Today she writes down how logistics should run – and the next day it does.

What changes for Elena.

  1. The problem

Everyone uses the warehouse’s system. Nobody builds it for the warehouse.

  2. The turn

Elena writes her list. The AI structures it, engineers build it, Elena releases it.

  3. The result

A warehouse in rhythm: safe, traceable, no panic on a Friday afternoon.

The story, chapter by chapter.

For reading rather than watching: each chapter of the film as a short text.

Chapter 01The problem

OverruledNine fields per goods receipt. Seven of them for Finance.

Sales promises delivery on Friday; the warehouse hears about it on Thursday at four. Purchasing buys in bulk for the discount, and the dock is blocked. The scanners log out every fifteen minutes, the stock in the system is from yesterday and the real stock lives in an Excel file. And a change to the ERP means six months and forty thousand francs.

  • Yesterday’s stock, the real one is in ExcelERP
  • One change to the ERP: six months, CHF 40,000ERP

Every department has its reasons. The warehouse carries the consequences.

Chapter 02The turn

The listElena writes down how logistics should run.

Elena opens Omnisnap DEVOPS and writes, in her own words, how logistics should run: two fields at goods receipt, one real stock level, docks with time slots. The AI turns it into clear requirements, checks them against the application’s source code and asks exactly one question. Then a named engineer takes over.

“Turns out my utopia was just a list. A long one.”
Elena, Head of Logistics
Chapter 03The turn

Everyone gets what they needNobody loses anything. The warehouse gets its rhythm back.

Finance gets its numbers through an interface, and the pickers get their two fields back. Sales sees real stock and dock capacity before promising anything. Purchasing sees the dock slots, and the AI suggests split deliveries when an order would block the dock.

Chapter 04The turn

The AI suggests. Elena decides. The AI reads, checks and suggests. Elena decides.

The AI reads delivery notes and matches them to the orders: “3 pallets missing”. It suggests moving fast movers closer to the dock and drafts the supplier claim from a photo of a damaged pallet. Elena approves. Every data record is checked, stored and logged before it reaches the scanners and label printers: the same airlock as in Viktor’s scenario.

In rhythmFriday, four p.m. The trucks keep leaving.

Friday, four p.m.: an update breaks label printing. It is rolled back in minutes, and the trucks keep leaving. Quality checks are part of the flow, not a side quest just before the audit. And because changes are included in the module price, Elena takes on returns next.

The platform behind it

What keeps Elena’s warehouse in rhythm

Elena needs no technical knowledge. She needs a way in that understands her language, people who answer for the result, and software that works for the warehouse next to the ERP.

In any format

Text, voice note, document or screenshot: the Omnisnap DevOps Gateway takes requests the way they come up.

More on the platform

Checked against the source code

The AI knows your application and asks questions before an engineer builds. For programming it works with source code only. Omnisnap works next to your ERP and does not replace it.
